Lay of the Land: Construction updates

As construction continues on our campus, this month Lincoln Builders will begin work near The Glen’s temporary entrance. Beginning September 7, the temporary entrance that we have used since work began, will be blocked off to all traffic for the next two weeks. To enter The Glen, please use our main entrance. Temporary signage will direct you through the community. (Please see the attached map detailing the entrance change.) We appreciate your cooperation during this time. Construction is moving forward and we anticipate a grand opening this fall! Should you have any questions, please reach out to us at 318-798-3500.
The Glen’s landscape is evolving! If you have driven past the campus recently you have seen that construction is fully underway at The Glen. Renovations have begun on Village Health Care, The Stiles Apartments and a common link at The Cottages.
As a reminder, The Glen is planning the following:
- Renovate the exterior of Village Health Care and The Stiles Apartments
- Upgrade the water feature
- Add a connector building to link The Cottages Memory Care
- Update the common areas, including the main kitchen in Village Health Care
- Add 60 independent living residences called Redbrook at The Glen
