The Glen celebrates Active Aging Week

Celebrate Active Aging Week with Us at The Glen!

At The Glen, we believe aging is all about staying active, engaged, and connected. That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ll be a registered host site for Active Aging Week 2025, and the community is invited to celebrate with us!

What is Active Aging Week?

Active Aging Week is a national celebration that shines a spotlight on healthy aging and all the ways older adults can thrive physically, socially, and mentally. This year, we’re opening our doors to the public so everyone can see what “active aging” looks like in action.

When is it happening?

Mark your calendars for the week of October 6. We’ll offer several opportunities to join in! If you see a program that interests you, just call us to RSVP!

Why are we doing this?

Because aging is about living well at every stage of life. Residents at The Glen show every day that staying active, creative, and socially connected makes all the difference. Hosting Active Aging Week is our way of celebrating that, and sharing it with the wider community.

How can you join in?

The programs listed below are open to the community to join in on the fun. If you would like to RSVP for any of these events, please call (318) 798-3500.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and show how fun and fulfilling aging can be!
