Proceeds benefit VHC’s Vinck Garden
The Shreveport location of Kendra Scott Jewelry, through the Kendra Cares Program, donated a portion of the proceeds from their sales during The Glen’s Holiday Boutique in November to support The Glen’s Vinck Therapy Garden.
The garden benefited from some recent updates, including sprucing up certain areas, correcting drainage, and replacing plants where needed.
The Vinck Therapy Garden was established in 2018 in honor of Lula and Minor Vinck, made possible through community
donations and significant contributions from the Vinck family.
Its purpose is to provide a safe outdoor space and walking paths for residents living with dementia in Village Health Care at The Glen’s secure memory care household.
